      9i-80s audio decoder is a hifi product with superior performance. The following are its basic components: WM8805 + Dual AK4495SEQ+ discrete device analog output circuit. USB inputModule uses the XMOS two generation plan and CPLD digital processing module.

      9i-80s DAC supports coaxial, fiber optic, BNC, AES, I2S, USB input, coaxial support 24bit / 192KHz PCM input, USB support DSD128 and PCM384.

 

      WM8805 is an excellent digital receiver chip, it has 50ps of jitter,. It is the best within the digital receiver chip supports 192K. Since the development of the chip is difficult, few manufacturers adopt it. Cen-grand has perfectly developed this chip. All products of Cen-grand with digital reception function useWM8805 within five years, which guarantees high performance.

 

       AK4495SEQ is a kind of advanced DA chip. It has smooth sound as well asoutstanding sounds. Its analog output voltage raisesabout 1V compared to ordinary chip, and hence obtains a better dynamic and analytical ability.


       9i-80s uses two-piece of AK4495SEQ internally, each piece works in mono mode, the two outputs are in parallel, which improves the density and analytical of sound. It has four digital filter mode, and the sound is slightly different between different modes, which allows user to make choice in order to get different voices.

 

       9i-80s DAC's USB part uses the latest program of XMOS: XU208, which is the second generation of the XMOS program and appears firstly in China. XU208 supports DSD128 / PCM384. In order to improve the performance,  We designed the CPLD module to deal with the digital audio signal and the clock, the specific features are as follows:

       1 : USB AUDIO part more or less makes use of the second generation XMOS XU208 with the kernel version XCORE-200. XU208 has a memory two times as the previous generation XMOS chip . Its computing speed is 1000MIPS, which is twofold of U8’s 500MIPS.

      2 : low jitter CPLD (additive RMS jitter is much lower than FPGA), we designed a low-jitter clock system; CPLD is responsible for managing the audio clock system.

      3 : The XMOS and CPLD have a perfect cooperation. XMOS processor is responsible only for the high-speed USB data processing section while CPLD is responsible for processing digital audio.

      4:CPLD module uses independent algorithm design, it uses the advanced source synchronization technology, to shake the technology. It corrects the digital audio wavefrom the XMOS output in order to reduce the addition of jitter  caused by XMOS's pin.


         9i-80s has a I2S input interface, hence can be connected with the Cen-grand 5i series player's I2S output port. You can skip the digital receiving part and use the fastest way to transmit digital signals.  Concise shape and operation, excellent performance, excellent sense of music, these factors make 9i-80s a prior choice for music and audio enthusiasts and PCHIFI fans.
